Testing alcohol

Ensure a Safe Workplace with an Alcohol Tester Connected to SYSDO

The SYSDO system now offers integration with an access or attendance terminal for breath alcohol control. This system enables effective prevention of employee intoxication, automatic test recording, and integration with the attendance system. Testing does not have to be mandatory for every employee – random tests can be set up with a defined percentage of tested individuals.

How Does It Work?

The employee first identifies themselves using a chip, card, or biometric data. Then, if selected, they perform a breath test, which immediately detects the presence of alcohol. The result is recorded in SYSDO, including the time, employee identity, and test outcome. In case of a positive result, the system allows automatic access denial or other predefined measures.

Why implement an alcohol tester in SYSDO?

Safety First

Eliminate the risk of accidents and injuries caused by employees under the influence of alcohol. Regular testing reduces the likelihood of intoxicated individuals in the workplace.

Automatic Record-Keeping

Thanks to integration with SYSDO, all tests are recorded and can be retrieved at any time. Test results are logged for specific employees along with a timestamp.

Flexible Configuration

The system allows the definition of testing rules, such as:

  • Random testing of a certain percentage of employees (e.g., 10%)
  • Testing all employees before entry

If the breath alcohol level exceeds the set limit, the system:

  • Marks the result as high
  • Sends an alert to responsible personnel
  • Blocks the employee’s access to designated areas

Easy Integration

The alcohol tester can be connected to the SYSDO attendance system and access control systems such as turnstiles and door locks. Implementation is quick and does not require complex modifications.
